Pelynt tractor Service

Pelynt Parish Church held a blessing of the Tractors Service to give thanks for these fantastic machines which enable us to farm productively. 6 Tractors and 60 people attended the event at Pelynt Village Hall. A number of tractors were brought along by the young farmers of the area. They thoroughly enjoyed showing off the tractors to the local community especially a large group of children and Trelawny Rev, The Rev Richard Allen pictured in his favourite tractor a John Deere. During the service Richard spoke on the feeding of 5000 and the importance of sharing. Certainly compared to those in the developing world we have so much. He also explained how Jesus has shared his life with us so that we might share eternity with him.

Our next outdoor service will be another Tractor Service on Sunday 10th October 4pm at the Lanreath Post Office car park opposite the parish church. All tractors welcome old and new and combine harvesters if you can get them there!
